The American Parkinson Disease Association
West Coast Office

The American Parkinson Disease Association is the largest nonprofit grassroots organization for Parkinson's disease in the United States. The APDA West Coast Office addresses the needs and concerns of the Parkinson’s community living in the Western United States.

Working on behalf of patients, family members and caregivers, the mission of The American Parkinson Disease Association is to ease the burden and find the cure. This is done through funding medical research and providing patient education and outreach.

Parkinson's disease affects close to 2 million people – that’s more people than those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig’s Disease and Muscular Dystrophy combined. An additional 70,000 people are newly diagnosed with Parkinson's disease each year.
